An unexpected headphone has made its appearance on Monoprice. The Monolith Liquid Platinum Headphone Amplifier is listed as a balanced version of the Liquid Crimson amp which was sold before the company closed.
Pictures show a rendering of an amp with balanced and single-ended inputs and outputs and powered through a 36V 1.0A power supply.
The site states a release date of June 26, 2018 at a price of US$699. At about double what Massdrop is selling its Cavalli amps, yet well below what Cavalli Audio were selling their products for, this is sure to generate a lot of interest.
